Help with Ken Scott Skirt

Hello, I hope someone can help me with more info on this vintage skirt. I would like to list this to sell but I want to make sure I ask an appropriate price.

I would assume this is part of the Ken Scott ready to wear clothing from the 60’s? I just can’t find anything online with the same lining. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there, this is an interesting piece! I poked around and also came up with nothing quite similar. I see that lining in bags from the 80's but have not personally seen it in earlier clothing pieces. Hopefully someone here can elaborate as I too would like to know more. Is there a label you can post a photo of? And I am curious as to the construction, seams, and stitching on the lining. Maybe it is possible it was added on at some point?

I will post photos of the seams later today. There is no label present unfortunately. I agree the lining seemed 80’s to me as well but the metal zipper paired with it was odd to me. I really hope someone has more information. I tried contacting the brand via email but received a reply.

Perhaps someone found a batch of this lining material and made it into a skirt, that might be a possibility.
I think that's most likely the answer, the lining's era doesn't match with the skirts, and there is no other label indicating it is from Ken Scott.

Excellent idea, maybe try their other social media accounts, or their website as well. But I am thinking it is a late 50's early 60's skirt with the lining added later on.

Here are a couple photos of the seams, waistband and zipper. The lining feels almost like a very smooth silk. It’s an odd material.

I wanted to add that I looked everywhere I could see between the layers. I felt the entire waistband to see if there was a possible label under the black interior ribbon incase that the lining layer was a later addition as suggested. Unfortunately I didn’t feel anything.
