Help with keword listing on early 70s coat &material ?s etc

Hi, this is what I believe to be an early 70s high-end coat by Irving Samuel, Canada called Gainsborough Parisiennes. It has the virgin wool label as well.

Is this gaberdine? It is backed with a fuzzy felt like material.

And do you think mod military style is fitting? Ideas for other key words???

As always, many thanks!

Wow, I'd definitely go with Mod Military Princess Pea Coat, I LOVE it!

It certainly looks like gabardine....
GABARDINE: a firm hard-finish durable fabric (as of wool or rayon) twilled with diagonal ribs on the right side b : a garment of gabardine

Thanks, Tori! Thanks, Mary Jane!

Tori - you love the coat, I love your title!!!

Mary Jane, I think you may be right as it doesn't seem to fit the "diagonal ribs" associated with gaberdine. And it doesn't really resemble anything in my All about Wool book.

Love Tori's title Deb! This should do really well for you! Black, Mod, Military, Princess, can't do much better than this!

Sue
