Help with lace ID and dating

Found this long piece of lace in a box lot of vintage fabrics and I was wondering if anyone knows how to tell how old it is. Also, what type of lace it is.

This reminds me that I have a new lace ID book to explore at the recommendation of our member Chelsealace...but it frightens me. Lace is sooo hard (in my best whining teen voice).

Hi,

Jonathan is quite right it is 1910/1920s and is machine made lace. Is it a flounce or is it a scarf (enhancer) length? It is not very valuable - probably just a few £s but good if you need to repair or lengthen a 1920s dress.

Margaret Chelsealace.
