help with naming fabric & fur

hello
I have a cute dress that I am having a hard time figuring out the fabric.
It is a dress weight & flowy but does not look like typical polyester, could it be a refined wool?

Also what fur would you say this is?

From your photos, it looks as though it is a wool crepe. It appears the fur was added, would it be easy to remove?

The fur looks like it might be muskrat, but its really hard to say, someone else will come along, I'm sure.

it does look like a wool crepe, I think you hit the nail on its head. The fur can be removed without damage...so I shall mention that

You could burn test a strand of fiber to be sure it's wool--as by the silhouette it could also be rayon or acetate (but if you don't see fume fading, it's probably wool).
