Help with Older? Tassels Nice Crowns

Any helpful info on these ivory cotton tassels? I've looked all over. Simple but have nice crowns and note that twirly loop on the large one.

They were in a large lot of textiles and linens I got a few years ago and 90% of items are Italian.

Any help would be appreciated. Larger tassel: 1-1/4"W (cap) x 4-7/8"L, with additional 3" FOLDED loop (has come undone at one end).

These can be difficult to date accurately as they were made for many many years, and basically look about the same with a little variance here and there. Yours may be shade pulls and are likely linen not cotton. A rough date might be 1900 -1920 or so but they could be earlier.

Ugh - I am so embarrassed. Thank you, Barbara, for unfreezing my brain. I know shade pulls, I've sold them, I have other ones that I'll be selling but not once did I think to search "shade pulls" for these. I just kept thinking "tassels, tassels, tassels"! I'm going now ...
