Help with rayon faille Asian-style dressing gown

Hi all, I am a bit stumped by this dressing gown. The material is a nice silky rayon faille. Seams are all French, and sewing thread is a natural fibre. One left side patch pocket. No labels. It looks like it was handmade.

At first I thought it could be 40s, but the length doesn't seem right. Then I thought maybe it could be a men's robe, but it doesn't seem right for that with the 3/4 kimono style sleeves and the print?

It definitely has some age to it, as it has some fading around the top of the collar.

Sorry for the poor quality of the photos, I just took a few quickly for the forum. Thanks in advance for any insights!

FWIW I could see it being a man's kimono. Not saying it is, just that the style looks fairly tailored and the print not too girly.

Interesting, ok. Any thoughts on age? It is that nice old silky rayon, nearly identical to a 40s dressing gown I have except that one is more of a plain weave, not faille. Do you think it could be 40s or 50s?
