Help with Royal Blue Trench Coat

Just got this really cute royal trench coat. Label is "Outer Banks by Jerold." I love this coat. Would appreciate any help with dating and if you can provide insight into things you are looking at to help date I would be grateful. Have a couple other trench coats that I need to get more info on and thought if I could learn a little here, I might be able to apply to the other coats. This one is by far my fav - love the pockets and wide belot loops. Again - need to be cut in half to wear but still like to look at it! :)
 
Cute coat, and I'd say 70s without a doubt! I have one similar, in fact! Somewhere....

The contrasting topstitching, the big curved patch pockets, wide lapels, and back yoke all are good indicators of the 70s.

Amanda - would you mind if I snip your ad and utilize as a sales tool? If you object, I understand but wanted to get your permission first. I love seeing these ads and they are great to give some point of reference for a piece. I usually print out and put in a sheet protector and put on hangar with the item. People seem to enjoy.
