help with sleeve type-description

hi,
i've attached a photo of a vintage 80s black dress. it has great big full puff sleeves with a neat button sleeve cuff.

it seems kind of "steampunk" to me, but how would I describe the sleeves ?

Hi,

The first picture looks like what was called a "Leg O Mutton" sleeve, very late Victorian in its style. Although LOM sleeves usually had the puffy part only above the elbow, and in the second photo the sleeve puff looks as if it starts well below the elbow, more as you said a Bishop sleeve.
