I'm hoping someone can help me identifying these stones, whether they are garnets or glass and if it is a Victorian piece? The red is not quite as deep as a couple of other Victorian pieces I have had but the setting is very similar.
The ring has 4 tiers and a total of 45 flat top stones with the larger, center stone being bezel set.
Please check the underside as to how the tiers are connected. I was also wondering if there was a name for this?
The inside band is marked with GAJ and STERLING.
