Help with sweater label for Seven Sisters

Hi~

I posted a photo of this cute sweater label yesterday. I thought I would run across another item with a similar label but haven't. Once I saw The Vintage Traveler article about the college, I wondered if the two could be related. I can't find anything that says they are. Is anyone familiar with this label?

I bought the sweater in the U.S. and live in Oklahoma. I also saw the reference to Seven Sisters Road in London. I thought I would run across another label like mine but I'm still looking.

As you've probably discovered "The Seven Sisters is a loose association of seven liberal arts colleges in the Northeastern United States that are historically women's colleges. They are Barnard College, Bryn Mawr College, Mount Holyoke College, Radcliffe College, Smith College, Vassar College, and Wellesley College " (Wikipedia)

The label (and sweater) looks C.1950's to me. The maker was probably a small business that marketed to young women who attended these schools and other women's colleges back then.

Wow! I looked everywhere and could find nothing. Thank you for sharing this very pretty ad!

If only we could step back in time (even for a day) and purchase items like this for $11.98. I'd be a very happy girl and would need a massive
shoehorn for my closet:)
 
I found one more ad, from 1956. I don't know where the bows are that the text describes, but the other items on the page are all simple blouses, so that text does not apply to them. It says: "...delight her with jeweled orlon! Seven Sisters weave a spell of delight with pearl and crystal bows on a pearl-buttoned cardigan. Beads form scalloped edging on the round-ribbed neckband. Other styles. $10.98 to $14.98"
