Help with this Donnybrook coat

I need help dating this Donnybrook coat. At first I thought 40s 50s but now leaning towards 80s. One reason I thought earlier was the silk lining is starting to melt like some older silk does. The zipper is plastic also making me think later. Thoughts?

The Donnybrook label wasn't created until 1980, so it has to be 1980s.
