Help with Victorian? Top!

Hello!
This recently fell into my hands, and just love the color! It's so vibrant for being over 100 years old(I think)

This is my first dealings with a piece like this, so I guess my question is, what time period is this from?
Also, this seems to be a very specific garment, and can't imagine this could be easily worked into a modern wardrobe, so is this something that is desirable among the vintage community or is this one of this old things that has minimal interest these days? I thinks it's beautiful and thought about framing/hanging it...but would much rather this be put into circulation and be worn. It's stunning!

Thanks in advance for any help or thoughts!

I'll let someone else advise on the time period, but as for modern appeal, I have a Victorian bodice in my wardrobe which I have been known to wear with jeans. The colour is very nice, and adds to its appeal, versus, say, black, which is more commonly found.

Victorian bodices are often very tiny, so if it's a larger size, it will be more saleable.
