What the heck is up with this label? You are the second one to post about it in the last few minutes. ???

Edit: Oh never mind, I see the other one was an old bumped up thread .

I dont think anyone is faking VS, but you never know. Did you read the info in the other thread?

No, it started in 1977. This is from the TESS site

VICTORIA'S SECRET

You cant actually link to an entry from TESS. But do a search of Victorias Secret from the search page.
I use the Basic Word Mark Search option
There will be many results. I just went to the last (earliest) one.

It takes a little while to get used to using the site, but once you get it, there is some helpful info in there. Remember though, to always use your other sources as well. :)

Hi,

Just posted this on the other thread on this tag....

Well I AM feeling old....I remember this tag, and I remember when Victoria's Secret was just a tiny company, running a small classified ad in black and white in the backs of a few magazines. They only sold a few things, all Victorian revival lingerie and a nightgown or 2, and I don't think they even had a real catalog. The ads were small, black and white of a woman in a camisole, teddie, or nightgown. I think the only colors were white, ivory and pale pink. Later on, when they did their first catalogs, they were small and were VERY different than todays. I still have one late 1970s teddie, with peach-pink ribbons and lace...very soft and romantic.

Better grab my cane and take a walk down memory lane.....

Thanks Brenda, Barbara, and Fuzzylizzie for your help. I feel like I'm in vintage college, with everything I'm learning. Love it!
