Help with vintage bag info

I was gifted this vintage bag by one of my former teachers. She didn't offer up any info on how she acquired it aside from "it's been in my closet for years". It's in amazing condition. I have no idea what the material is, year, worth.
The inside appears to be suede or suede like
The clasps are hinged and work wonderfully
There are no stains or tears
There is a matching shoulder strap that attaches to two rings one in front and one in back
There are 5 little "feet" on the bottom so it doesn't actually rest on the floor
Upon inspection of the inside i found a label "Isabel" but the glue was so old it slid off when I tried to get a better look.
I'd love to know who the designer was or what decade it came from, what material it's made of. I had actually been carrying it, but decided to stop bc it's in such wonderful condition I'd hate to damage it.
Anyone ever seen a bag like this or have any info on it?

I think your bag is modern within the last 5 years or so, the studs on the bottom look quite modern though I don't know when they started attaching these, and the top clips look like the novel detail mass produced items often have. The fabric in particular looks like impressed faux-leather and made from plastic. Sorry but I think it was a tourist buy.

I appreciate your input but I know the bag is older than 5 years. I actually saw my teacher this morning and she said she got it at an antique store many years ago and she carried it for a short time and it's been sitting in her closet since. With it she also gave me a vintage makeup case. 60's or 70's with a mirror and 4 working lights inside. I have every reason to believe her story.
Thanks again for your input though

It could be older than 5 years but I would definetly say it's not vintage, based on what I've seen. If you can add some close up photos in daylight of the fabric and zip I may see something that contradicts.
I must say I've had lots of owners believing they bought an item x many years ago, even when such an item had features that weren't invented back then, or materials that didn't exist.

I dont know when this bag was made, but the feet on the bottom of the purse has been around for quite a while. I have many bags from the 50s and 60s with feet.

I have a fun little handbag that I found in a secondhand shop, that has the same peculiar closure, which I haven't seen anywhwere before. The style is a little "old fashioned", but it's definitely an inexpensive piece made from artificial leather. I don't think it's completely new, IMHO I would have put it at maybe 80s dating-wise. I was just surprised now to see another bag with the same peculiar clasps!

I have a similar bag that I found at a thrift store 15 years ago. It has that same type of faux suede lining, it is 50s style but I think it is from the early 90s.

The hardware doesn't look old, and it looks like it has a contemporary zipper on the interior pocket, so that would seem to suggest it is fairly recent.
