Help with vintage boots

I was given this pair of boots to sell in a fundraiser, but I can't find any information that I'm confident in and don't know where the best place is to sell them or for what price. I'm hoping someone here can help me. I don't think they are all that old, but maybe 1980s. Inside is stamped F 54 09/84 in medium sized gold lettering and the brand HARDY in large yellow lettering. I don't have photos hosted online anywhere yet to upload here. I have been researching Pierre Harding and I'm wondering if maybe these are a very early pair of his although everything I find indicates he started with Christian Dior in 1988... There is nothing about him here, I presume because he his not vintage enough?? Any help I can get would be great.

Do you mean Pierre Hardy not Harding? I hadn't heard of him but someone may know more. Their website says the brand started in 1999

I don't know where in the world you're posting from but the only footwear brand I am aware of with Hardy in is the British 'Freeman Hardy & Willis'
