Help with vintage fur, please! Fur Label Authority

Hi everyone,
I thrifted this beautiful coat yesterday (keeping it for me!) and I'm curious what kind of fur it is and when it's from. Also, just curious what it might be worth. The Fur Label Authority serial number is G761928. Thank you for your insight!

Hi there. Pretty fur. The fur type is mouton lamb and I would date it to the later 50s, possibly the early 60s. The first use of the Fur Label Authority label was in 1956. It was used to assure consumers that fur garments were made under fair labor standards and complied with the fur products labeling act. With that label being present it can be determined that the jacket is post 56.

Here's an image of an advertisement for a mouton lamb fur jacket that looks very similar to the one in the photos you've shared that was advertised on page 16 of The News and Advance newspaper on Wednesday October 29th, 1958
