Help with vintage fur.

Hi,I have just recently taken an interest in vintage furs and have been trying to educate myself on identifying the type of fur but still need some help so was very excited to find this sight. If anyone can help me with this fur I would be very thankful.

I think its mink with a fox collar.

It looks mink to me too...not sure about the collar. Is the fur of the collar softer than the rest of the coat?

Thank you for your input, The collar is very soft as is the coat fur but it is fluffy. I thght the coat was mink but I seen where muskrat was made to look like mink and I wasn't sure how to tell.
