Help with wool \"obi\" dress

hi gang,

I thought I had asked this question before but I could not locate the posting thread.

I have this dress labelled "A Jane Parker Junior". No fabric tag but seems to be wool

it's got a great deep V cut back and the empire "obi" type sash is striking in orange and red florals. Not sure but the waist treatment could be silk..?

anyway, I'll be posting this on eBay and wanted some help in identifying the age and some key words. Is OBI the right term ?

The waist sash/treatment could certainly be called Obi style. I would think later 1950s, but could be wrong!

It looks late 50s and to me, an obi wraps around and ties in front....this is more a cummerbund with tails. Its GORGEOUS!! Ang

It's quite the stunning dress, I would say late 50s and don't forget to mention that great low cut back!
