Helping dating wool princess coat

Hi all,
I have a cute plaid wool princess coat that's double breasted with trim collar and flap pockets. I am thinking this coat is a teen's or juniors as the waist hits high on me and i'm only 5'2. It is lined and also has a National Recovery Board tag. I am thinking 1960s, but could it be older?

Thanks much!
Brooke

Hi Melanie - i've attached a few more pics. The trim is yarn and I believe the lining is possibly synthetic - not quite sure it has a silky feel but doesn't feel like traditional silk and it's definitely not satin. The buttons are what made me think this could be older. Thanks much!

Thanks for the extra photos - that trim wasn't what I was expecting at all and gives it a nice sort of Tyrolean/austrian twist. It looks to be wool also.
The lining could be rayon.
I'd expect some shoulder padding on a coat of this weight, just to maintain the intended shape and structure.

To me this looks 1940's. I call these linings rayon twill. Does it have an interlining - a flannel like or pressed fiber layer? I have found that to be characteristic of late 1940's coats.
