My guess is early 80s because of the peplum style, but if anyone can narrow it more specifically, LMK . The back is all those fancy buttons rather than a zip. and the tag is Bridal Originals
This was the only clothing item at an auction i recently attended. I normally don't buy wedding gowns, but what made me want to make sure it got to someone who would appreciate it was also the fact that along with the dress and
veil, the bride had saved a dried flower and a bow from the bouquet, the slip, the garters, a strapless bra, and there was a white nghtgown that could have been part of the trousseau as well but it might not have been.
I figure someone around Halloween might want to go as a bride with her friends being tacky bridesmaids, or you never know with the revival of 70s and 80s there may be a more budget minded bride who doesn't like the Vera Wang look. it could be a fun theme wedding. powder blue tuxes, anyone?
Needs a crinoline and my gal is a bit too tall for it.
