Its being released in February - another Coen Brothers film! See below for a synopsis and trailer - it looks HILARIOUS

I saw it last night and it was a HUGE disappointment. Parts are greater than the whole - there are some very funny scenes, but with all those stars, and the Coen brothers writing and directing you would think it would be an amazing film, but its flat, with no real storyline. The best actor in the whole thing was some new guy I had never heard of - Alden Ehrenbach, or something like that, who plays a star of westerns miscast in a society drama. Also, the costuming is very weird. It takes place 1951, and most of the extras looks great, but they put Tilda Swinton in these over-the-top outfits, which are fine, but very poorly made - there is a back shot where you can see her hat and the fabric is all puckered and folded over - VERY amateurish sewing for what is supposed to be a high end designer outfit. They also put one actress who plays a Carmen Miranda-like actress into a very 1940s heavily padded shoulder evening dress with high, bouffant hair, like its 1945. This is for a screen debut, so I have no idea why they dressed her 5 years out of date... Anyway, there are some funny scenes, but wait for it on video or netflicks, not worth spending the money on a theatre ticket.

Thanks for the heads-up, Jonathan. I remember how disappointed I was in The Great Gatsby several years ago. In fact, I almost walked out. As an ardent Art Deco fan, I was SO disappointed with the jewelry -- everything was so over-the-top and not at all attractive. But then I guess that is that director's style.
