Here\'s why I don\'t do hats~

This is a silly question, but am I correct in assuming when wearing a hat the label goes at the back? I have a hat that I don't think looks correct however I place it on the head. It seems to look better when I place it with the label at the front, but that doesn't seem logical to me. Didn't take time to clean up the pix - sorry ~

And this one the brim is puzzling me~
It is shaped, but will stay down or tipped up. I think it looks sharper up, but maybe it isn't meant to go that way?

I'm thinking 50's/60's on the blue one and late 60's/70's on the gray?

The first one was meant to be worn with the hair pulled back tightly to the head in a chignon or french twist. It will look better if you remove the wig from your head and just put the hat directly on the head. A good way to tell which way it fits is to put it on your own head. One way will usually "feel" right, and yes, it's usually label to the back.

I need to 'direct' the feathers to sweep in the same direction, correct?

I love the color of that feather one. Would look great on a bob cut too!
