Hermes scarf

Hi

I have quite a few Hermes scarves and one yummy one I have not been able to identify.

Had a look at the Hermes catologue & even a link where over 3,000s picc of scarves were collected, it took ages to look at them all, yet could not find this one I have here

Would it be possible to send in some piccs as to be honest I nearly when to France last year during Oct as they had a thier scarves collection on display, yet I dont think I would have been able to come away without wanting them all, being my birhtday too it would have been tooooooo tempting.

Hermes is not a label that I have 100's off, yet this one has no collection name, it was given to be as a gift and now I am trying to find out just what collection it may be from and to what year ect.

Arent they just so wonderful to wear or even hold!

Will get the snaps/piccs together and see if we can work out any answers?

I love my Hermes scarves! I have five or so. They are fabulous to own, I totally agree with you, and would love to see some pictures of your collection.

I am not sure who set this up it was something I came across during 2008 whilst trying to find more info about mine, hope it helps and that its the correct link

It was amazing how many piccs and details are included

Also if you go to the Hermes web site they too have their own history, piccs, dates of collections ect. (if not updated or amended)

Sorry I cannot take piccs of mine just yet as they are stored & I am sadly too ill to do much as have a big op on Thursday yet wrote yet another note to my list to snap some piccs when I am strong enough on my return, the lists gets longer every week!

Lets see some more piccs please, what was the saying from Audrey Hepburn? was it that everyone must own a Hermes scarf it thats true she was so true! cant remember which interview??

Annie Faivre seems to be my favorite designer of the scarves!
And I love those little booklets that diagram ways to tie the scarves. Wearing another one here:

I meet a lot of interesting people thanks to my husband. One lady whom I met recently was telling me about her ex-husband's custom made suits. He had them lined with Hermes scarves.

It takes 3 scarves in the same pattern and colorway. She said this is somewhat challenging. Even the boutique in Paris rarely has three that are just alike.

So ladies next time you wrap yourself in one of these luxurious scarves, consider how a lining would feel. We can all dream. Claire
