Hey Linda, Here she (granddaughter) is! 1st Birthday

I just got back from a trip to Jacksonville for her 1st birthday, here are a few shots of her and me, I'm a happy Nonni. I love that baby soooo much!

Heck yea, I wanted to eat her up and take her home with me!
I couldn't get enough of her and living 6 hours away makes it so hard on me because I miss her so much and missing all the new things she is learning. She says mama, dada, nana :) <----that's me.... She took 12 steps when I was there and will be fully walking by the time I see her again. I took her to Stride Rite for her first pair of walking shoes, (I am a stickler for good shoes on babies) and she seemed to balance herself much better with the ankle support.

Your boys are so handsome Linda, you must be so proud.

Other than my first one who never crawled, just started walking at 8 months, all of mine waited one to two days after their 1st birthday to walk. My Mom always believed in good shoes for toddlers and I was the same way.

Nana...that's what Drew calls me and Jadon and Jevin did, too, but last time I saw Jadon, he started calling me Grandma Linda???

Here's my little guy, David. He calls me Bubby.

Grandma Linda!! :bouncy: Too cute! I love bubby and he's adorable!
By the way, I forgot to say, her name is Adrionna and she has the most beautiful eyes, they are blue with green specks, her daddy has light blue eyes and her mommy has brown eyes.

That's the color of my eyes!! She will have to call me "aunt" Linda. Can't wait until you can dress her in vintage. Come to think of it, I have some cute 70s bell bottoms for little girls. I will have to find them! Also, nos, flannel gown. I bet you have fun shopping for her.

Deborah, he is so cute and would fit right in with my crew. Bubby is what I call my brother! I think that is so cute. Maybe I can suggest that instead of Grandma Linda..lol.

Tori, she is a sweetheart!
Glad you had a great visit.

All those boys are just tooo cute.
Classic little boy looks... just makes you smile. :)

My cousin had the same color eyes....blue with some green but more blue to classify them as blue. They changed to green. i remember when we were both 3 or 4 that he woke up one day and looked in the mirror and screamed because "he woke up and his eyes were a different color". I am sure it happened slowly and gradually and so he didn't notice the day to day change - and he also likes to tell things dramatically, even at that age.
