Yummy, yummy coat Caryn! Unless it's got the big shoulders of the 80s, I'd say 70s, possibly even late 60s. What a great find!
Thanks Jody, I am trying to hold onto it until winter. It is so hard. I want to make that money but it will do so much better in a month or two and would do best if I waited until November.
It does not have the big shoulders but it just looks so glamorous reminding me of the show Dynasty and even Joan Crawford too; "no more wire hangers", and I got another coat with it that I think is probably 80s/90s but maybe the lady got them at two separate times.
Those sleeves do definitely scream 70s or as you say perhaps late 60s as the color is fitting to that time.

That is stunning...any chance that it might be sable rather than mink? The pelts look fairly wide.
Hi Mary Jane, Thank you. I agree. It is stunning. I would be even more lucky if it were sable but it is mink. The pelts along the bottom of the back do look wide in the photos but the space in between is actually two pelts. I can feel the seams between each individual pelt but some of the seams show more. I am assuming that was intentional. If you look in the middle of the seams you can see a slightly darker color maybe. There are two pelts between what you think is one pelt. You have a good eye!
