Hi Folks can you help me date this?

I cannot find a tag on it and fur is real soft and sewn in as seen in picture six. I don't know how to tell real fur from fake. Perhaps have my animals tell me. They can always tell what is real and fake. Now they don't really tell me an answer but I know by the sniffers and I have not had them do the sniffer test. If they real sniff it up it's real. No deep sniffing it's a fake.. but anyhow trying to date this lovely cover up..any ideas...

Hi Dee Dee. I can't see much on my phone screen. Is it a jacket or cape? Can you tell what fabric it is? What is it lined with? How are the seams sewn? Does it have shoulder pads? It's hard to be able to tell you much without any information but from here it looks like. Modern cape with rabbit trim. More info needed.

It's a cape. It has no tags to tell me material but it is somewhat stretchy. It's some type of knit. Like you know a light sweater. It has no lining. I don't find no seams sewing. Perhaps more pictures? No shoulder pads. I tend to believe it is more modern also but I don't know much. I will post a few more pictures.

It looks modern to me. If you could snip off a few threads/fibers somewhere you could do a burn test to possibly decide the fabric content.

Right, I can see it better now on a bigger screen - it looks like a kind of finely knitted stole that someone has added rabbit fur balls to, to turn it into a cape. So I guess that's what you mean by no seams.

Not sure if the fur balls are original or not. I recommend that you determine the fabric content if you can: it's probably either wool or acrylic or a mix. Looks quite modern to me, but unusual so I can't really date further than to say it's likely to be from the last 10 years approximately.
