Hi there! Shoes question for the experts...

I've got a pair of shoes here that i"m not quite sure about.

They could be from the 1960's, but I think it's possible that they're older.

I would love to hear what you think!

Melinda, they look like they have a label - are you able to read it or better still, provide a photo? Also, if you have a photo of them side on that would be good too.

They look early 70s to me because of the chunky heel.

I thought the same thing about the heel, but then the craftsmanship of the hand stitching around the toes and the outside sole kind of threw me for a loop.

Are these features typical of 70's shoes, or would it be rare?

I think they are for sure dance shoes - you can see the tap plates on bottom of shoes. They are really cute.
