Hello :)

Just thought I'd post this as it's local to me and I've lent a few dresses.. but even if I hadn't I would be looking forward to it!

In a gorgeous Elizabethan house and grounds in Lincolnshire, it runs throughout August and having met the organiser I think it will be really interesting, with all manner of gowns of all ages from all over the country.

Her blog for the exhibition is http://www.doddingtonexhibition.blogspot.com and the hall's website is http://www.doddingtonhall.com

The gardens are lovely and it's a lovely setting.

It looks lovely, Harriet. And in such a beautiful setting too.

I'm sure the curator will have no problem securing exhibits since nearly every bride kept their wedding dress, even the poor old working class brides - its one of the few types of garments that survive in enormous numbers (christening gowns are another one!)

Congratulations on having some of your gowns included - you should twist the curator's arm and have the price and your contact details included on the info boards! ;)
