Holy Moly! Antiques Road Show tix!!

I got Antiques Road Show tickets. I just received the email! It says each person(2) is allowed to bring two items. The tickets are for a designated time and we will have to stand for long periods of time. They advised bringing a chair.

Yay! I'm excited. Now, what to bring. You know, I think I'm going to bring that Norman Norell coat that didn't sell at auction.

Ohhh wish I could get tickets!

I have a crazy old painting that we found at my papa's house. EVERYONE who knows art who sees it says "Ohhhh this could be a good piece!". It's signed, but we can't figure it out!

That is so cool! One of my favorite mail clerks had told me about this ticket lottery, and then it completely slipped my mind. I'm glad you'll be there!

When it was in Omaha I watched the coverage on TV. The lines and loitering about waiting looked hellish! Wear comfy shoes and bring some granola bars.

I did go to the site to see if you could still get tickets, though. No such luck, of course.

I just got my "too bad, so sad we didn't draw your name" letter this morning.
It doesn't bother me though since I don't do well waiting in long lines and don't
have anything fabulous to bring but I thought it would be great fun to people watch.

wah.. i got the same letter as Karen ~ "sorry you cant come". i have some really great amish primitive figural carved chairs i wanted to take, and a embroidered art work of "sequences" lol sequin, circa 1950 wedding gift, and a Asian carved scene table.. and on and on.. I requested tickets from each of my family members and not one of us scored.

Way to go Sandra! Have so much fun!
