In honor of Season III, let's each show a piece vintage clothing that you feel is ideal for one of the characters on the show.
Here's a dress for Betty Draper:

This was take this past weekend after I wore it to a matinee performance of Ballet Hawaii's summer production, "Peter Pan". (Note the collar!)

I've only seen three episodes so far, from somwhere in the middle of the first season (but I'll keep watching!), but here's a suggestion for a hot summer's day - maybe for Betty, for the summer holiday?

It's what I wore today ;) - it has just been a very, very hot day, and there's nothing better for that than a light, breezy cotton dress.
I got this from a lovely little shop that sells only 50s and 60s stuff, in Helsinki when I was there last winter, and it has become one of my favourite summer dresses. The shop's owner would fit right in with the secretaries on Mad Men!

For Betty, once she delivers that baby and then she can wear this and tell Don that "no I have a headache" since he really is quite a cad. Hot, but a cad.

Just out of interest, do they wear genuine vintage in this series or are they reproduced specially by the costume department? If it's genuine clothing from the 50's, I'm assuming they'd be given credit in the end titles somewhere?
