HOT NEW vintage store!

I just found this in the New York Times:
"WHAT'S new about old clothes? Right now, a great deal. Reminiscence is spreading their wings. Reminiscence has moved to a new location, after 10 years on Macdougal Street, where there were waiting lines on weekends for the five dressing rooms, Reminiscence has moved to 74 Fifth Avenue, where there are 16 dressing rooms and plenty of space for the old clothes and jewelry, military surplus and new clothes for which the store is famous. The shop has bright green walls, colorfully painted counters and neon signs, and going through the door is like stepping back into the 1950's. Take your choice of 50's prom dresses and dinner jackets, old ski pants and Hawaiian shirts, or pick new versions of the above made by Reminiscence."

FOrgot to mention, this was in the March 19, 1985 issue...

It was big...it did not seem like a vintage store to me because of the size and they had new things too...their prices were nod bad better then the small vintage places..
