Housecoat/Coffee Coat - 50s ?

The hang tag says housecoats and coffee coats - Coffee coats is a new term for me, we called them dressing gowns at home. It's rayon, a medium greyish blue with a hot, hot pink lining and it has shoulder pads. The skirt is fairly full.

I'm thinking 50s - what say you?

I have never heard of "coffee coat" either. :roll: And my guess would be 50's, too.

I agree; Very Pretty and looks 50s. I have one similar that is my favorite. I have just about worn it out. :sniff:

Size label says 18 - come to think of it, that's the first I've seen that size in a 50s item.

That is one gorgeous coffee coat! (Too bad it's not reversible--the lining is too pretty a color to keep "under wraps", if you'll forgive the pun...)

Well, I am thinking early 50s, too. This looks a smidge 40s, so maybe on the cusp.

My Mom use to refer to shorter robes as her coffee coat and I am from the South. They are giving two options...housecoat or coffee coat.

What are the measurements, Deborah? I love it!
