How about hats? Date check please.

I think they are both 1970s, from the 1970s does 20s/30s Deco Revival. Nice lines on both of them.

Any labels or interior construction that would help?

Oh, yeah, big strawberry has to be 70s. Maybe with the Holly Hobby look.

I am not so sure about the top one, as Hollis said, a look inside would help. I could go either way 40s/70s on it as shown. Dianne Keaton/Annie Hall had some big hats, but I didn't find an image of a floppy one. Wide brims were popular in both eras.

Thanks, ladies. Sorry for the lack of info! I did find the first one, an Edward Mann with a lot of 40s, 50s hats. Here's the back view with a feather I borrowed from my grandson (probably the original was not as wide a feather).

Hollis is right. Those style Edward Mann hats were everywhere in the 70's in the UK.

The felt on the taupe/beige hat is quite a bit heavier and stiff compared to the felting used in the Twenties and Thirties. The machine top stitching - I think - on the edging of the brim is a bit of a give-away.
