How best to store silk bias cut slips?

I've been hanging them up but I've read bias cut should be stored flat...?

Gravity can make a bias fabric drop unevenly over time, so you end up with an uneven hem. So gently folded and stored flat would probably be better.

Same with knits - they shouldn't hang.
