How daft!

If I'm feeling better tomorrow (or if the drugs kick in), we werre planning on going to an antique sale. It's £3.75 to get in which is average but the thing is, that they charge for CHILDREN to get in from the ages of 5-16!!! OMIGOSH, I can't believe they are going to make me pay £1 for Jake to get in. He's 5, he doesn't even want to be there. Why charge little kids to get in???:flaming:
I reckon tomorrow he's be "4 1/2".

Every one is on the make these days, it always gets to me when you have to pay a entry fee to go and buy. I paid £8.00 to get into a engineering show two weeks ago, but I did save on postage so it worked out ok for me. but did not go last year as I did not want any thing!
I accept that the expense have to be paid by some one if not by the visitors then the stall holders would have to pay more, Could the organisers make a radical marketing dection and refund your the entrance fee if you spend so a minimum amount say £15.00 on a item?

Hope you are luky and find that something special!

Just make sure Jake is not "honest". I was a child on the smaller side and after i hit about 5 I could pass for a kid a year or younger than I was. The plot was foiled when someone caught me unawares and asked me how old I was without my mother being able to coach me first.

But still, a pound/buck is not that bad. It might deter people who have particularly wild children from bringing them along.

Sorry you're not feeling well Lei.

I always thought it was kind of cheesy that children had to pay to get into this type of event.

Chris may be on to something, maybe they are trying to discourage the teen crowd, but I would think they should allow the young ones in.
