How do put this belt and bow?

Hello again

I was wondering how the belt went on this? was the bow part in the front or the back.... I was goign to list this as late 60s early 70s but looking at it on my mannequin I am questioning myself? it does have a center back poly zipper. So just a confirmation on the date would be helpful too thank you!

I'd go with the bow at the front....and a date of late '50s/early '60s.

Thank you! Yea it looked 50/60 in the pictures and on my mannequin and in length but the poly back zipper just made me think later 60s because it looks original not added on later.

But i was nuke-ing it (over thinking as the Navy says)

Nicole is right on, as I found a 1959 newspaper ad with a very similar Henry-Lee dress and the belt has the bow in the front.

That dress SO reminds me of a dress I wore to "dancing school" in the 50's. Ack - bringing back memories of not being picked.
