Good morning!
I have a vintage garment from the 1960s that appears to be made of a polyester type of fabric with a fitted nylon lining. I noticed tiny particles escaping from the garment when I moved it around. I shook it outside and more particles were released. I think this is from the fitted nylon lining. Does anyone know if there is any way to remove 'loose' particles from vintage garments? If I remove the lining would that help? I'm assuming the particles are a result of the fabric breaking down?
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated, thank you!
