How to Identify Fur -->Cashmere Coat/Fur Collar

i've got this beautiful vintage coat (50's ??). it is from Maas Brothers (an obsolete Florida department store...) and is made by Country Tweeds.

Can someone help identify the type of fur collar ?

thanks so much ! are there different types of minks that are different colors ? It seems most mink I've seen is darker.

But I'm a Floridian so I don't see much mink !!
