How to watermark an image

Well I am getting ready to list some very
cool old AP Wire photos and some Old
movie publicity photos so I figured I
should probably learn to watermark.
I've tried in the past to figure it out
but some of the tutorials for PSP5
are beyond me.
Well this one was a breeze so I thought
I'd share.
Watermarks are good not only for photos
that your selling but also if you have people
who steal your pictures on your auctions.
Here's the tutorial

and here is one of my pictures:
(this may be big but since I will only have
one pic per auction I kept them big.)

Thanks Marie! This is the program I use so very applicable :)

that's great, Marie!

I don't have PSP, so all this time, I've just used my irfanview to add my name (or any text) to my images.

Like This:

Scott has a brand new unopened edition of Front Page, so that's gonna be a huge help for the rest of my stuff. And when my pc gets here, I'll be right at home with the software I've always used. But, maybe I'll look into a trial version of PSP or something similar.
