Apparently 'around 1 out of 255 women and 1 out of 12 men may have some degree of color blindness'

I just did this test, that shows you how well you see color. It is really interesting to find out, and it's fun to do.

You are asked to arrange subtly different swatches of color in order by hue, creating a graduated line of swatches from one color to another. At the end you are told how well you did. If you have less than perfect color vision it shows you which areas of the spectrum are your weak points.

I scored 12, it was interesting, I found the turquoise/purple one difficult because it went through a third colour in the middle unlike the top two. And I sort ribbons and buttons and trims by colour at work unceasingly! I also thought after a while, in my efforts to achieve perfection I was moving shades further away from the correct places :hysterical:perfectionism is my downfall in life!
A colleage who works on the Saturday market is totally shade blind in the blue/purple spectrum, but he's allowed to get away with messing up because he's married to the boss :).
 
That was awesome!! I scored a 7.

I need hubby to take the test, he and I are always disagreeing about what color things are!! LOL!

OMG I scored 0 - says I have perfect color vision. Too funny because I am so not creative and never pay attention to colors! I'm what they call stuck in neutral. Thanks for the fun Ruth!
 
I scored poorly. Which means that I'm blind and have no business being in the business.

That's it Ruth! That's the ticket -- it's my monitor that's messed up. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
