how would you describe this ..wallet ? and how old do you think ?

i know its not exactly fashion...

but i have this pigskin wallet type note book.... addres book....holder.. with a centre zip compartment.... and a place ot but notes.....

i want to put in on ebay... so how would you describe it...or cal it.... and also waht catogory.. and also do you think its 50's ?

or later .....sorry but totaly have a mental block today.....

I recall seeing this item from the early to mid 1960's. They were commonly referred to as a pocket secretary for men. In recent years the jacket pocket wallet style such as this one has been less popular, at least in the states. It was considered an upper class accessory as it notated that the man wore a suit jacket on a regular basis, as opposed to the wallet style carried in one's back trouser pocket. It is still sold at upscale stores such as Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. In fact, I saw one online just the other day. A book by John T. Molloy, Dress For Success, references this style of wallet as the type to have if you want to be considered one of the upper classes. Hope this is helpful.
