How You Look and Dress 1959 textbook

I found this book and thought I'd share it with you all. It's a textbook that was first issued in 1949, and this is the third edition (published in 1959). The photos are great! I've been getting a kick out of reading it due to delightful tidbits like how to brush your teeth properly (with lipstick on apparently, gotta love it) and how taffeta party dresses are not appropriate attire for hoedowns. There is some very good advice as well, and it's lovely to know that this much education and instruction was given about clothing in schools. I wish I had been assigned this book in junior high. Thanks for letting me share!
