Hello all,,, I suck at "coordination" besides the obvious that black or white would go with this dress... but I also like to make colors pop and i need help ion that area and since I dont live by my sister anyomore I need yalls help...

Do the red shoes look BAD,, are they blah, not good not bad, or are they alright? I'll probably wear them anyway lol for thanksgiving with this dress unless yall talk me outa it.. these shoes are the most comfortable heels ive owned!! the leather is sooo soft!

Thanks Jennifer

Ps. not that I care the age... I got the shoes at a yard sale for 2 bucks , they are all leather tops and soles... stamped made in italy, 8 S and the name in the inside reads Garolini. I always just imagined them as a 90s pair maybe 80s? but I have no idea on shoes really I just liked them and was kinsa wondering... they may be newer but still make me feel like they are bombshell pumps lol :-)

Oh and a pic of my daughter also into heels at onl 19 months old!!! shes been doing that since she could walk!!! Im in trouble! :-)

They're likely 80s; Garolini did (does?) fabulous shoes, often vintage inspired. I really like the red in combo with the charcoal of the dress. You might search for some 50s button earrings in the red to tie it all together.

I think they look wonderful!

My first thought, too, was red earrings!

Add a red bracelet or two...

Adorable dress and your daughter is a cutie as well!

That was weird... my answer disappeared. Oh well... I had said that you look great in the dress, red and grey are great combo, and historically, the rule in the 1950s was no more than three accessories of the same colour, so if you wear red shoes, then red lips and nail polish would be enough to carry the shoes with perhaps one more item, such as a scarf or brooch, but no more than that.

So that's why when I put on more than 2-3 accessories of the same color my matchy matchy alarm goes off.

And the dress and shoes look great together. And if you don't have red earrings, how about some bangle bracelets in black, red and white?

Awesome,, thank you all so much... :-) i liked it together but my hubby said it clashed... but he is guy.. in the Navy lol his outfits are already picked out!

Thank you all!!! you made me feel better not like such an illiterate dresser..thanks for the compliments on the daughter.. she loves to help mommy and dress like mommy :-) Im going to get her saddle shoes this christmas :-) yeah!!!

I don't think it clashes at all! Red works GREAT with all the colors you have going on there - it might be kind of bland without it ;)

I do agree that you need something else to tie it in -- I like Jonathan's idea of lips & nails - so subtle!

You are just TOO cute for words ;)

Love the shoes, and the dress, and them all together! And your darling daughter!

I'd either go with the red nails & lips, or go neutral on the makeup and find a red bracelet and earrings. (Personally I'd go with the jewelry 'cuz I'm not much for makeup these days.)

Or two pieces from this set:
