So I purchased a variety of things at an estate sale and this was included. It came in a box with satin lining and a display frame. It is made of something breakable. The flowers are permanently attached. I cannot find a mark or a name on it or in the box. Any ideas on what this is?

Thanks.

Sweet - looks like it belongs on a wedding cake. I once had something that looked like that kind of work - went to wash it and it melted - it was some kind of hard sugar piece! I assume the display frame and box with the satin lining were made specifically for the piece? It seems as if it must simply be a decorative piece for display purposes only. Perhaps someone can comment on the technique used on the white section. Are the flowers porcelain of some kind? Or silk? Size of piece?

So I took some more pictures. It is porcelain or something similar. About the size of a dinner plate (see spoon in picture for scale) and it came with a display frame. If you look closely, you will see the flowers seem to grow from a white tree that is shaped a bit like a bonzi tree. The flowers are also porcelain or whatever the rest is.

As Amanda says, it may simply be a display plate or wall plate. Eg a plate designed purely for display rather than any practical purpose. You do sometimes find them with these 3 dimensional elements. Search for "3d Wall Plate" or "3D decorative plate" to see what I mean, though I can't see any quite like yours.

The style and box is oriental, and I think those are may be plum blossoms, which is typical Japanese subject matter. It certainly has a weddingy appearance.

Yeah, it comes with its own display frame, so it is for display. Weird that it has no markings or company name on it anywhere. I assume it used to have some documentation with it in paper form that is gone. Oh well, I listed it on Ebay, maybe I will learn something from there.
