For the runner-up prize for the magazine contest I got a basket of fancy beauty stuff, a L'Occitane shea butter set, a Sephora makeup palette, several Benefit items, a Fresh candle, a couple Laura Mercier nail polishes, Roger & Gallet liquid hand soap, Dior's j'adore in a solid form in a gold compact. I can't stop smelling the candle, and otherwise just keep looking at everything. It's the kind of stuff I'd never buy for myself, so it's a real treat! I wish I could share with each of you! I appreciate so much all your help and good wishes.
One thing kind of strange: The items were sent in a basket with wide blue satin ribbons wound around, but nothing holding the items (some are glass) in place. The basket was put in a very large box and sent with no packaging. All came through fine via FedEx but some were tumbling around in the box. If I had bought the items on eBay I might be a bit upset about the lax packaging!
