I have a few labels I never heard of nor seen on VFG

I scored this dress -Never found a listing for Ameritex in VFG the dress claims a late forties early 50's and has the pockets and side metal zipper etc but I was curious if this is a fabric company and home made dress or a ready to wear?
If I am not following protocol for this properly, forgive me I have FMS and get confused very easily .

Ameritex is the maker of the fabric. It might mean that the dress was home made, but clothing manufacturers often used the same fabrics that were available to home sewers.
