I just got one of my holy grail pieces, and I’m 100% I’ve seen the ad for it before but cant find it

Title explains it more of less, I’ve been looking for this skirt since like 2018 and I finally found it this weekend and am so happy!

But I remember seeing it in an ad at some point? And I’ve seen it as a dress before? Or at least paired with a top or something? Anyone happen to have the ad saved?

Are you looking for the dress on the left of the skirt

After a bit of digging I think the piece that you look for is mid 1950, and almost sure designed by Grace Douzier Durocher,.who used to be a partner and designer in Forest City manufacturing (the company behind Carole King and Shirley Lee brands. this specific dress is from the Shirley Lee collection).
It looks like it was printed by Cranston Print works company, which used to be leading textile printers until they closing down in 2009).
I do not know if that could be any helpful for you but I hope you find the ad you looking for!

Yes that’s exactly the ad I was looking for!! I remembered it differently though (I think I got it mixed up with a skirt I used to have?
Either way thank you because that’s exactly it!
