I knew all my cool stuff was useful~

I am trying to make a globe light for my step-dad. I got the globe apart but there is a heavy metal washer embedded where I need to put the light socket and it is not nearly big enough. So frustrating!

Bring out the big guns...power tools! There's nothing I can't fix (or destroy) with a sawz-all and a hammer drill~:headbang:

I loved most of that stuff too, although I found the xray lampshade a little creepy. (generational thing?)

Is anyone but me old enough to remember the fluoroscope machines in every shoe store?

In essence, an X ray machine you stood on to fit your shoes....and while your mom shopped for shoes, you whiled away the hours X-raying your feet again and again.

I know I did.
