I don't know if this is what you're thinking of, but I grabbed my decades-old sewing book and found this: "Broderie Anglaise: A traditional embroidered cotton fabric with regular openwork as the feature of the design."

Never having seen anything called by that name, ao not having a clue if it is right or not, I don't know if what you have is that, but it sure seemed to fit....

How about just "delicately light embroidered eyelet organdy"?

Bet that's a pretty one, just from the fabric! And pink, too!!
