But dang they are expensive anymore. There are a few email list that I signed up for and this one has a deal today for four movie tickets at most any movie theater in the US for just $20. I don't know what movie tickets cost where you live but here in SD they are anywhere from $12-$14 each! I just bought 5 of these deals so 20 tkts. I am going to catch up on all the movies I couldn't afford to see
There is no catch-no extra cost. The only thing is that you have like 3 months to use the tkts. I just thought I'd share.
Groupon is another site that sends out daily deals. Like LocalTwist they are usually local deals like 1/2 off or more on restaurants, museums, hair salons, etc.
The San Diego Tribune has there own version of daily deals so check your local paper online to see if they have one. These are always local deals but they have some great offers. Like today it has a deal from a local cosmetic surgeon for $900 worth of laser hair removal treatments for just $99 for 6 treatments. I'm not doing that one but it seems like a great deal.
Anyway-just thought I'd share.
